Luke or Lucas how we call him is my 2 years old Labradoodle. I was lucky to rescue him from a rescue home when he was 5 month old. He was in an awful state when i got him. Full of worms and fleas a badly skin infection and ears and eyes was infected too. The rescue home said that they have treated him for all his infection and fleas and so on, but for some reason I did not believed them. But this is a long story. But the worst thing was that he had cigarette burn marked all over his body. So it was clear to me that he got very badly abused from the pre owner. I still could cry when I remember back the day I saw him the first time.I’ll never ever understand how cruel people can be.Here is 1 of my favorite pictures of him when he was younger.
I also have Kim a chocolate Labrador girl 3 years old and Jessie (Kim’s sister second litter) my yellow Labrador girl 1 year old.I’ll will upload photos of all my dogs too
Hugo is a fabulous 11 month old puppy.
His mother was half labrador, half boxer and his dad a very handsome labrador.
Hugo enjoys nothing better than a walk with his best buddy Busta and to walk along with TWO tennis balls in his mouth!
He is incredibly cuddly and a bit of a wuss.
When he meets a new dog, the first thing he does is lick their face…not always appreciated! He doesn’t quite understand how big he is and still tries to sit on your lap. Foodwise…he loves EVERYTHING, but he is a labrador, after all.
Trixie is one in a million, She loves her squeaky toys and chews – Pedigree Rondo is her favourite. She goes for walks with her Mum although her Mum rides a mobility scooter and sometimes Trixie rides on the scooter with her Mum. This is her favourite resting place – she is spoilt and we both love spoiling her because she is THE BEST.
Kim is my 3 year old chocolate Labrador girl.
Kim loves nothing more than going to the park and meeting her doggy friends. She loves swimming and playing in the lake or in our garden in the paddling pool. Kim loves snow as well and is a happy chappy when she can catches the snow balls I through at her.
Food: I call Kim my walking bin. If she could, she would eat anything. Its so funny when she sniffs up the floor after we have had our dinner, hoping some of our food fell on the floor.Kim loves fresh bones and her training treat: Cheese or Chicken.
The sad thing about Kim was, that she have been ill very often, right from when she was a little puppy.Elbow problems, skin infection, bowl problems, running eyes and nearly ever month an ear infection.A lot of health problems settled now since I started feeding her a grain free diet, 2 days a week a raw diet, give her antihistamine tablets and pay special attention to her ears, which I treat now with holistic creams and lotions.
Kim is my first dog ever and we have a really special bond. She have helped me through the ruff-est time of my life.I really adore her, but I also love my 2 other dogs about I have written here too. It’s Jessie and Luke
Jessie is my 1 year old yellow Labrador girl. When Jessie was 12 weeks old I took her home with me after she has been in 2 homes before when she was only 10 weeks old. Peoples excuse to give her back was that she is only trouble, messing in the house, not walking on the lead, not sleeping through the night and some other unbelievable excuses. Excuse me: She was only 10 weeks old. What do people expect? Anyway, she is with us now and she is the most adorable, intelligent and happy little doggy girl I can think of.
Jessie loves to play with my other 2 dogs Luke and Kim ( see my other posts here), loves her daily walks to the park where she plays with her doggy friends or play ball with me.she loves paddling in the lake and greeting every person who comes across our way.Jessie is very fussy and loves to crawl on couch or in bed to snuggle up with me or she snuggles up with Luke or Kim in their dog beds.
Food: Like Kim she would eat anything if she could. But she gos absolute mad when I give her chicken wings to eat.
Oscar is too fabulous for words. But I’ll try. He is so lovely, but why is he lovely? Because he is so gentle, he shares his food with other dogs without any growls or snarls. On cold winter evenings he will snuggle up close to me and keep me warm. If for some reason my alarm clock fails to go off he will come and cry next to my bed until I wake up. He is a very helpful dog. He is one of my very best friends and a wonderful companion. He loves playing with children and other dogs, but can get a bit carried away playing with grownups which affects his breathing. He is fantastic at football. But he is quite cultured, he enjoys music and painting and we have taught him a magic trick. He can be a bit of a misery guts about going out for a walk if the weather isn’t very nice, but I know lots of people that aren’t keen on rain or snow so I let him have a lie in if it is too cold. He is ACE :0)
Gambit [Poruse Diamond Dealer CDX TD] is the most delightful dog I have ever owned. He is so loving, adores puppies, cats, dogs of all sizes, children and adults. He doesn’t have a bad bone in his body.
Gambit does obedience, agility, tracking, tricks, doggy freestyle and herding. He is a Delta Pet Partner who visits nursing homes and adds a smile on the patients faces when he talks to them (little do they know that he is asking them for a biscuit). The club we belong to is in the porcess of getting a demo team together of which he will be part of.
He is very demanding when we stop to talk to other people as he he wants to visit as many places, people, dogs.
Gambit lost his friend, Miss Annabell in January 2010. He has just become Gambit again.
The phot of Gambit is when he’s telling me that he doesn’t want to sit, he wants to play with Miss Annabell.
